Tiny = ages 3-5
Children = ages 6-8
Preteen = ages 9-12
Teen = ages 13-18
Adult = ages 18+
**These ages are just a guideline. If your child is a first time dancer at age 13 they may be asked to start out in the preteen group until they are caught up.**
30 minute classes - $25 per month
45 minute classes - $44 per month
1 hour classes - $49 per month

This class is an introduction to ballet and tap basics. The focus is on having fun and giving your child a positive introduction to dance. The children will learn a tap dance and a ballet dance to perform at our annual recital. No experience required.
This class includes instruction in tap and ballet. We also start to introduce some jazz concepts.. The focus is on having fun and giving your child a positive introduction to dance. The children will learn a tap dance and a ballet dance to perform at our annual recital. No experience required.
During this class, dancers will warm up with exercises that tone the body and prepare them for the intensity of hip hop dance. They will also learn combinations as well as a cool down time.
Ballet is one of the oldest forms of dance. In this class students will learn and become proficient in ballet fundamentals and terminology. They will also develop their strength, balance, flexibility, and endurance, while also working on their confidence
Pointe is an advanced form of ballet. Students will continue to develop their ballet technique on pointe. Students will only be permitted to start pointe work when the proper strength and development have been attained. It will not be determined by age. Students will be placed into classes at the instructor’s discretion.
Jazz classes focus on dance technique and musicality while introducing and expanding jazz movement vocabulary, such as isolations, syncopated rhythms and dynamic movement patterns. Warm-up exercises emphasize coordination, balance, flexibility, muscular endurance and correct body alignment. Progressive skills development includes across the floor movement and center floor combinations.
Lyrical is a blend of both ballet and jazz, with expressive motions that portray a story. Students will learn lyrical technique along with how to express emotions through dance in a positive way.
Dancing through basic steps and combinations using rhythm and syncopation.
This class focuses on a blend of dance technique, personal movement exploration, and artistic expression. Emphasis is placed on dynamic body alignment, sensing and activating weight, movement on and off center and multidimensional use of space. Progressive skills development includes movement sequences that occur on the floor, standing and traveling through space. Students are encouraged to push new boundaries, discover versatility and move "outside the box".
Our 2016-2017 Recital Season will run from August 8, 2016 through June 10, 2017 (pending recital venue approval). Our recital season is a monthly tuition based program. Monthly tuition rates are based on an average for the year. Each month is the same, no matter how many classes in that month. Tuition is run on an auto-pay plan on the 1st of each month. There is a $15 registration fee for all dancers.
